I live on Mayne Island, BC, amongst some of the most wonderful organic farms in the world. There’s nothing like eating local, fresh, delicious food that hasn’t burned through gallons of fuel to get to your doorstep.
I created Moveablefeast.info to allow local consumers ”hook up” with local producers, both here on Mayne and all over the world. We’re not an sales site (you can’t buy anything here). For now, think of it more as a Facebook of local, fresh food. Make connections, and start buying locally. Your stomach, and the environment will thank you.
